RELIGIOUS COMMITMENT, SELF-ESTEEM, AND ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PERSONS IN NIGERIA

The purpose of the current study was to examine attitudes Nigerians towards physically challenged persons. population constituted civil servants. A total two hundred and twenty participants comprising males females were randomly selected from Enugu Kogi states service as research participants. Data for generated using three instruments, including 24-item Scale Attitude Toward Disabled Persons (SADP), Religious commitment inventory (RCI-10), Rosenbergs self-esteem scale (R-SES). multiple regression analysis results showed that religious significantly predicted attitude However, findings also found no significant influence on challenged.
